The adjusted Draft State Budget for the next year has not been submitted to the Parliament yet. Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made the above-mentioned statement on Friday.
According to V.Lytvyn, the Cabinet of Ministers failed to return the Draft Budget for the next year to the Parliament. "One shall understand that no budget will be adopted until the end of the presidential elections", - he stated.
The Head of the Parliament deems necessary "to stop persuading each other, discussing the responsibility for budget failure instead; two weeks have passed, and the document has not been submitted to The Verkhovna Rada, which is totally abnormal".
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine believes that "competition for the basis of the Draft Budget" is absurd. "The Draft Budget shall be based on the effective Law. Otherwise, it is a demonstrative neglect of the fundamentals of our life", - he stated.
V.Lytvyn expects that after the presidential campaign, "people will make a sound choice, ensuring adoption of the budget for the country, not for a certain group".
