Legal System in Ukraine should be aimed at the Protection of Each Citizen's Interest and deprived of any Pressure on the Part of the Political Structures - V. Lytvyn.
It was declared by Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during the Volyn District Administrative Court.
V. Lytvyn has greeted the judges´ personnel with the occupational holiday and wished them "calm heart and awareness of the great dead of each judge."
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has emphasized the necessity of the measures to be taken in order to provide "transparent judicial system that would protect the personality." he also emphasized that "a judge that ensure the efficient administration of justice in the name of Ukraine, should be deprived of pressure brought upon by certain political bodies or high-ranking officials."
The Head of the Parliament proclaimed that the power "is supposed to be returned into the legal field in order it is conducted basing exclusively on the legislation and not political agreements." V. Lytvyn has emphasized the importance of legal legislation treatment. "Jurists are supposed to take care of the facts of laws implementation and not how to omit their execution", - he explained.
Giving answers on the journalists´ questions, V. Lytvyn emphasized that the judicial system financing should be held exclusively by the State Budget. "If it is held by the local budgets, allotting funds for the repair work in the court institutions, it may cause ordered judgments", - he declared.
The Leader of the Parliament also expressed his thought regarding the necessity of judges´ election by the citizens.
"The most essential issues regarding the judicial system is the fact of total depoliticization of the judicial system", - V. Lytvyn has emphasized.
