Non-arrangement of the fourth tranche of the IMF loan will not bear negative consequences, as "less shall be disbursed". Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, made the above-mentioned statement on Saturday, within the scope of the working visit to Bila Tserkva town in Kyiv region.
He believes that "nothing terrible would happen, as it has already occurred: Ukraine obtained a loan of USD 11 billion within the current year, USD 14 billion being withdrawn abroad".
The Head of the Parliament stated that the IMF issues loans only on certain terms, having determined the economic characteristics. Thus, it establishes control over the debtor´s economy.
"It is necessary to work and analyze the consequences of any decision", - V.Lytvyn stated. He believes that the signers of the Memorandum on Cooperation with the IMF shall report on their obligations related to this document.
