During the Committee meeting it was declared that the Bill (Reg.№2169) envisages the defining of legal and organizational basis for the special information verification submitted by the candidates for the State officers´ office appointed by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Verification according to the bill is being held by the special authorized centralized body on state service issues together with other state power bodies and by candidate written consent.

During the sitting of the Committee it was emphasized that the social relations are the regulation subject of the Law "On State Service." Moreover, the Committee members deem that certain part of the verification subjects possess special status, implemented by certain Laws (e.g. status of a judge or Ombudsmen etc.)

According to the Committee members the Bill is supposed to contain not only amendments to the Law "On State Service" but also to other special Laws that separately regulate the legal status of the state officers.
