The Foreign Affairs Committee recommends that the Parliament adopts the Recommendation of the Customs Cooperation Council concerning Amendments to the Convention on the Customs Cooperation Council Foundation

According to the Recommendation, the customs and economic unions can become the Contractual Parties of the Convention on the Customs Cooperation Council Foundation.

 

Adoption of the Recommendation will create necessary legal conditions to ensure efficient participation of Ukraine in the international customs cooperation.

 

Thus, the Convention on the Customs Cooperation Council Foundation is supplemented with the provision, pursuant to which, any appeal of the customs and economic unions for obtaining the status of the Contractual Party shall be initially ratified by the Customs Cooperation Council.

 

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No. 0136.
