In parallel with the exhibition, a series of events dedicated to the defence industry and the latest military technologies will take place, with a significant focus on Ukraine.
Halyna Yanchenko, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament and the Committee on Economic Development, who works in London with Ukrainian arms manufacturers, took part in a discussion at the second Freedom Summit and the Ukrainian Defence Innovation Forum.
Halyna Yanchenko, Member of Parliament of Ukraine and member of the Committee on Economic Development, who works in London with Ukrainian arms manufacturers, took part in a discussion at the second Freedom Summit and Ukrainian Defence Innovation Forum.
«The incredible growth of the Ukrainian defence industry has been made possible by the dedication and faith in Ukraine of entrepreneurs from various fields who began to create weapons so that our soldiers would have the means to destroy the enemy.
A 35-fold increase in production is an impressive result that could turn Ukraine into a veritable “arsenal forge” for the democratic world. Now it is important not to lose this potential - this is what we are talking about today in London,» the MP said.
The first panel discussion of the forum, entitled ‘Arsenal of Democracy,’ is dedicated to the transformation of the Ukrainian defence sector, international cooperation and the integration of advanced technologies into military infrastructure.
«I am convinced that the incredible experience of our manufacturers, who respond instantly to the slightest changes on the front line, as well as weapons tested in real combat, are exactly what is needed to protect the free world,» concludes Halyna Yanchenko.
