On 27 November 2009, Mykola Tomenko, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Evhen Suslov, the People's Deputy of Ukraine visited Skvyriv Children's Home "Nadia."
M. Tomenko declared that the building of such institutions is the good example for the following as this house is built instead of the old one. He emphasized that "the most important is not the problem of the house but the children´s adaptation to new conditions. He reminded that repairing works cost approximately UAH 430 thousand. The parts of these funds were directed from business and international organizations and as charity help from the local council."
In new children´s home were separate bedrooms for girls and boys, medical cabinet were built.
The Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared that now it would depend on children from normal families, teachers how these children would live in new school environment. He also named the organization of the building financing the successful one.
M. Tomenko announced that it is also planned to build the playing grounds and organization of recreation for the children. He emphasized that the most important is to form not only material conditions that is facilitate rooms but also the possibility to make children feel like home. "I am convinced that it should be an example for other regions", - M. Tomenko declared.
The People´s Deputies presented the children with gifts: washing machine, refrigerator, sport equipment, table tennis equipment and took part in the table tennis match with children.
