In particular, the Committee members recognized as such that comply with the European legislation the Bill (Reg. No.4224) on Amendments and Supplements to Article 42 and 184 of the Code of Laws on Labour of Ukraine (re protection of persons who keep children), according to which, the persons who keep two and more children will obtain extra safeguards concerning a priority right to keep the job by dismissal of employees in the result of changes in organization of manufacture and work, as well as guarantees concerning prohibited refusal in employment, dismissal of reduction in wages of women with two or more children.
The Bill adoption will protect the parents with two or more children from dismissals under the conditions of economic crisis, and grant extra social safeguards to them.
The Committee also recognized as such that does not contradict with the European laws system the Bill on Ratification of the Convention on Protection and Encouragement of Divergent Forms of the Cultural Self-Expression (Reg.№0151).
During the meeting it was declared that the Convention ratification is part of EU legislation and is compulsory precondition for the Ukrainian participation in EU cultural programs.
