Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, names the reform of the juridical system and adoption of anti correctional laws the most important problems to be solved by the Parliament.
He also emphasized that concerning the courts reformation "it is necessary to take into account the experience and recommendations of the European community to be placed on the first place."
Giving the answers to the journalists´ questions, V. Lytvyn proclaimed that the situation with the reformation "is on the zero level."
After the completion of the Presidential campaign, V. Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, will scrutinize the tasks supposed to be settled long ago.
Answering the questions of R. Volvend regarding the schedule of adopted Laws that have been on the agenda he answered that "Ukrainian politicians like to be taken care of. The politicians believe that somebody is supposed to think instead of them."
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada expressed anxiety regarding the reduction of the parliamentary role in Ukraine which means the deterioration of democracy in the country.
V. Lytvyn emphasized that it would be extremely hard to organize the work after the presidential campaign. "Ukraine will face the biggest challenges after the election", - he stated. "It will be necessary to restore the working regime in the country."
Giving the answers regarding the transparency of the presidential campaign funding, V.Lytvyn proclaimed, that unfortunately, there was neither efficient mechanism in the society nor the Parliament to control these processes. Still, he assured that despite these conditions, the Verkhovna Rada "will assume the leading role in the course of the election campaign."
