The Committee on Public Health upholds the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2009" (re Increase of Expenditures for the Medical Treatment of Citizens Abroad)

The Bill (Reg. No. 5237) increases the State Budget expenditures for the budget program "Medical Treatment of Citizens Abroad" by UAH 22 million.

 

Extra State Budget expenditures shall be covered by the duty on the goods exported by the subjects of entrepreneurship.

 

The Committee members believe that adoption of the Bill will provide a possibility to perform operations on the sick children who require bone marrow transplantation and are on the waiting list of the Ministry of Public Health of Ukraine.
