Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Monday met Luka Bebic, Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia.

 

"We are extremely pleased with the level of bilateral political dialogue and are convinced that the development dynamics would gain new quality, also we highly appreciate the opportunity to strengthen cooperation and contacts on interparliamentray level", - V. Lytvyn declared.

 

During the meeting the Parties have discussed wide circle of issues on cooperation in different spheres. In particular it was stressed that there is wide range of the possibilities for the activation of bilateral cooperation in the travel sphere.

 

The Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia informed that he would do everything possible to open in Kyiv the office of the Croatia Travel Union as soon as possible

 

The Parties also expressed for the experience share regarding the conduction and preparation for such occasions as "Euro-2012" championship. "It is of vital importance to held the championship on the highest level", - V. Lytvyn announced. 

 

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine also emphasized that Ukraine is interested in "experience of Croatia cooperation with European community."

 

Luka Bebic, Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia in his turn is convinced that the present visit would facilitate the further cooperation of bilateral relations and expressed readiness to share the European integration experience of Croatia with Ukraine.

 

Speaking on European perspectives of Ukraine, V. Lytvyn declared that topic on access of Ukraine to the European Union unites the country and NATO theme is not accepted by people." "Ukraine must be self-sufficient country and it is necessary to firmly unite the nation and country but not to split it", - the Leader of Ukrainian Parliament emphasized.
