In course of the meeting, the parties discussed the European Union's long-term support for Ukraine's economic stability under the Ukraine Facility. Oleksandr Korniienko highlighted that this financial aid is critical for the country's recovery.
«Ukraine's financial stability is inseparable from European security. Prolongation of EU support is not just an expression of solidarity, but also a strategic investment in regional stability and protection of European interests,» the First Vice-Speaker noted.
He also recalled that Ukraine has already received €16.1 billion in 2024, while successfully fulfilling 36 reform indicators, nine of which were met ahead of schedule.
