Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine deems that the President´s Veto, put on the Law on Allocation of UAH 1 Billion on fighting against Influenza Epidemic, might be scrutinized during the next Plenary Week
Giving answers on the journalists questions regarding the pre-termed session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine that is supposed to be held on 26 November, V. Lytvyn declared that the President´s Veto, put on the Law on Allocation of UAH 1 Billion on fighting against Influenza Epidemic, might be scrutinized during the next Plenary Week
"I am firmly convinced that the President of Ukraine should have signed this Law but as he decided to use his right to put veto, the Parliament should have scrutinize this issue on Tuesday, during the next plenary week and do not demonstrate outbursts of love to the people as it leads to the political fighting", - the Leader of the Parliament declared adding: "I suppose that several days do not matter regarding this problem."
V. Lytvyn expressed an assumption that initiators of the scrutiny "expects not that much veto being overridden but they probably expect to show that one part of Ukrainian politician love Ukrainian people and another one ignores them."
"Concerning veto, if the Verkhovna Rada has adopted it by the constitutional majority, the decision is supposed to be implemented and supervised", - V. Lytvyn concluded.
