Nomination of Yuriy Yekhanurov to the Post of Minister of Defence shall be preceded by Political Consultations on the said Matter - Volodymyr Lytvyn
Nomination of Yuriy Yekhanurov to the post of Minister of Defence "confirms that the course for "the war" does not only tend to slow down but even gets worse."
He declared that if there were a war between the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Ukraine, it shall not spread on the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as " an island of stability in the country shall be not violated."
V. Lytvyn also expressed his point of view regarding support of this candidate by the People´s Deputies: "approximately 25 votes." According to V. Lytvyn, "it is necessary to hold consultations on this matter, preserving the President´s right to nominate the candidates for this office."
