Medical Branch, as well as Education, shall become the Priorities of the State Policy, - Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, is convinced.
It was declared on Monday during the visiting Mechnikov Dnipropetrovsk Regional Clinical Hospital.
"Our national is dieing out", - V. Lytvyn informed presenting the vital statistics. According to his words, for 5 last years in Ukraine died 20 172 people in RTA, in hospitals from injuries 44 627, 5 963 died out from tuberculosis, 92 thousand people are carriers of HIV-infection and for 5 years 12 500 people have died. Each year form cancer die 90 thousand people.
"According to the statistic, we should have started talking about necessary measures long ago", - V. Lytvyn declared, adding that "I omit term "state of emergency."
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that power representatives did not speak on mentioned above statistic data "not to be responsible for it." According to his words, situation with the influenza epidemic was also necessary for the power representatives in order "to divert the attention from the themes that are urgent in the society and to be not responsible for the social and economic problems."
V. Lytvyn reminded that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the Resolution on immediate actions regarding spread prevention of the pandemic influenza in Ukraine, which envisages the establishment from 1 November 2009 additional payment for medical workers at the scope of four salaries rates. "Our task is to do everything possible to pay these funds and not to declare and then forget",- he stressed.
The Leader of the Parliament has also emphasized that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine upheld number of bills, suggested by him, in particular regarding the population clinical examination during the year2010 and formation of health passport.
V. Lytvyn also expressed his impressions regarding the visiting regional clinical hospital: "Real devotees are working here; they love their work that is their life at the same time. It is extremely important today as it might compensate the lack of necessary equipment."
Still, V. Lytvyn announced that there are a lot of facts that contradict the modern demands.
As it was reported, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stays with a working visit in Dnipropetrovsk region. Within the scope of the visit, V.Lytvyn will meet the personnel of "Vesta" international scientific and industrial corporation and residents of Mahdalynivka township.
