Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday visited Kobyliaky village, where he honoured the Memory of Mykola Kasian, Osteopathic Physician, Founder of Manual Therapy, Academician, People´s Doctor of USSR, and Honoured Doctor of Ukraine.

 

V. Lytvyn expressed condolences to M. Kasian family and named the doctor "great person." "I would like to honour the great person, bow to memory of doctor-healer and simply excellent person", - he declared.

 

St. Nicolas Church in Kobyliaky village, where the funeral service was performed over the deceased, was founded and ordered due to M. Kasian finance assistance. Dean of St. Nicolas Church, Reverend Vasyliy emphasized that M. Kasian "lived honestly, speak what was on his mind." This person, according to his words, "sacrificed himself for other people and ever since faithfully served God."
