On the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Parliamentary Secretariat and MPs of Ukraine joined a number of events

On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of Ukraine's Independence, together with the President of Ukraine, the Government, military leadership and servicemen, MPs, representatives of the clergy and distinguished foreign guests, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, Vice Speaker Olena Kondratiuk and Secretary General of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Viacheslav Shtuchnyi took part in the events marking the Independence Day of Ukraine. 


"Today and always, we are proud of our country and the unbreakable Ukrainian people!" said Ruslan Stefanchuk. 


"We are proud of our Security and Defence Forces, we thank everyone who helps, works and gives us strength and faith in the Victory," said Olena Kondratiuk. 


The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, together with members of the Ukrainian parliament, also paid tribute to the fallen Heroes of Ukraine. "We honour the feat of each and every one of them! We are forever grateful to the defenders who gave their lives in the struggle for a free and independent Ukraine," he stressed.
