During the discussion, the issues regarding the role of European Regions in transboundary cooperation of Ukraine with EU, ways of improvement of legislative provision, perspectives of territorial cooperation in finance perspective of EU 2014-2020.
The Participants of the Hearings declared that transboundary cooperation and development of European regions of Ukraine are supposed to have great potential for the strengthening of the dialogue Ukraine-EU and for its implementation more qualitative regional policy of transboundary cooperation id needed.
Borys Tarasiuk, the Chairman of the Committee on European Integration emphasized that the necessity of the today´s hearings is caused by the problems that restrict today the development of the transboundary cooperation.
The Chairman of the Committee also stressed that the initiative "Eastern Partnership" contains concrete propositions for the countries-partners regarding the regulation policy of the regional development and support of the social and economic life of the countries-partners.
AS a result of the discussion, the participants of the hearings have adopted as a basis the bill of the recommendations that recommend the Parliament conduction of the legislative provision of the transboundary development in the framework of the Euroregions through the adjusting of the normative legal acts of Ukraine to the EU system of laws.
