Mykola Tomenko: Viktor Yushchenko should be Authorised Person of Ukraine but not Authorised Person of Viktor Yanukovych

Giving answers on the journalists´ questions in Lviv regarding the signing of the Law on Social Standards Increase, M. Tomenko declared: "It is sad that the President of Ukraine, who started the elections campaign, acts like an authorized person of Viktor Yanukovych but not of Ukraine."

According to M. Tomenko, the fact that the President on the demand of V. Yanukovych declared that he was ready to sign the Law on Social Standards Increase, proves that positions of V. Yushchenko and V. Yanukovych coincide and nobody is interested in social-economic part of this project implementation, but everybody is interested only in popularity of these or that politicians during the elections campaign.

The vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada declared that it is obvious fact that it is actually impossible to implement this bill without serious negative consequences, for the private sector of real economy in particular. "It is not possible to radically increase the salaries without dismissing people from their offices, but it looks as though, nobody is interested in it as today´s plans of the presidential campaign are more important then the stability in Ukraine", - he stressed.

M. Tomenko expressed hope that "this election hysteria" that seized headquarters of Yushchenko and Yanukovych would extinct. "It is really important who will be the President, but it is even more important that the next President of Ukraine should not govern the destroyed country", - M. Tomenko declared.
