Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: the State should not spare Money on Medicine and Education

 

In the course of the visiting Donetsk region, Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine visited Scientific-Practical Medical Rehabilitation-Diagnostic Center of Ministry on Health Protection of Ukraine (Kostyantynivka town) and became familiar with the its departments work.

 

Center provides medioprophylactic services and also diagnostic and specialized psychoneurological aid to the population. An essential part of Center activity is scientific investigations together with the Donetsk m. Horkiy National Medical University.

 

V. Lytvyn held the conversations with the working team of the institution and took part in on-line conference between the workers of the center and faculty and students of Physical Rehabilitation of Volyn L. Ukrainka National University.

 

In the course of the conference a number of issues on development of this trend in medicine were discussed.

 

During the conversation, medicals touched upon the issues on entry into the professions register "rehabilitologist speciality", as its absence in the register causes the problem on employment of the graduating students.

 

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine asked to prepare the documents on this issue and promised assistance in the problem solving. He also expressed gratitude to the medical specialists for their work.

 

According to V. Lytvyn, medical speciality "rehabilitologist" would be in great demand soon as people living under stress needs assistance of high quality in order to adapt to these conditions and be fully functioning person. "It is our future, medicine and education should be of prior importance or the state and it should not pare money on it", - he declared.
