Volodymyr Lytvyn: Political Battles do not stand Comparison with the Life of an Ordinary Person
Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Monday visited three-years-old Nastya Mandzyuk, who was injured and now is in coma.
Information on horrible tragedy, which overtook Mandzyuk family, V. Lytvyn received during the visit in Kamyanets-Podilskiy at the beginning of October of the current year.
Parents of the girl addressed the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the request to help with the treatment in Saint Petersburg. According to the words of the doctors, in A.L.Polenov Research Institute of Neurosurgery the girl may receive help.
V. Lytvyn immediately responded on the request of the child relatives: appealed to the V. Knyazevych, Ministers on Health Protection of Ukraine, V. Matvienko, Governor of Saint Petersburg and allotted financial help. After his assistance the child was transported Kyiv and was examined in Kyiv City Clinical Hospital №1 for Children. A lot of efforts for the treatment were made by V. Yu. Martynyuk.
Within several days after the necessary documents were registered the girl would be transported to Saint Petersburg.
"Such cases made us look different on this situation in Ukrainian policy. Politicians speaking with pathetic words about happiness or welfare usually failed to notice the troubles of the concrete person", - Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed.
"We speak about big policy when there is a great necessity to safe life of a small girl, who really needs our help", - V. Lytvyn declared.
