The Committee on National Security and Defence recommends that the Verkhovna Rada adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine regarding the carrying of the Uniform, Use of Ranks Mark and Symbols

The Bill (REg.№4585) envisages the prohibition on military uniform carrying form of the other military formations, rank marks and symbols by the persons having no legal rights for it.

 

Authors of the bill explained the necessity of the norms implementation by the fact that nowadays great number of the state and public structures, Cossacks movement use uniform of the other military formations, rank marks and symbols by the persons having no legal rights for it.

 

The Committee upheld the Bill adoption of which according to them would facilitate the prevention of the crimes, connected with the use of the uniforms and cases of authorities abuse.
