of the Food Industry of Ukraine
Please accept my sincere greetings on the occasion of the occupational holiday the Day of Food Industry Workers.
Food industry is one of the most important sectors of Ukrainian economy, as it forms a foundation of the country´s existence and prosperity of its citizens, satisfies the most urgent and vitally important needs of every individual. Even at the height of the global financial crisis, it ranks high in the sphere of industry and export potential of our State, making a substantial contribution into the formation of budgets at different levels.
Under the complicated present-day conditions, representatives of the branch exert every effort to boost production of foodstuffs, persistently work over the refreshing of their assortment and presentable look in order to satisfy growing and exacting consumers´ demand.
The success of your work is confirmed by the fact that our consumers tend to give preference to the foodstuffs produced in Ukraine. Market share of Ukrainian production within the general share of foodstuffs at the domestic food market has considerably increased for the recent years, and totals almost 95 per cent.
Competitive ability of national production at the global market is also growing. Ukrainian foodstuffs are delivered into 37 countries, successfully sustaining the harshest competition and contributing millions into the State treasury.
These facts testify of the fact that food industry employees will further work hard over the implementation of innovation technologies, creatively using the best national and foreign experience, achieving success by daily inspired and self-sacrificing work.
