The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the Law "On Implementation of the Minimal Living Wage and Minimal Salary for the Year 2010"

The Bill (Reg.№4762) envisages the "implementation of the living wage for one month at the rate from 1 November 2009 - UAH 701, from 1 January 2010 UAH 825, from 1 April UAH 839,  from 1 July UAH 843, from 1 October UAH 861, from 1 December UAH 875 for the principal social and demographic groups of population:

 

 children aged till 6: from 1 November 2009 - UAH 632, from 1 January 2010 UAH 755, from 1 April UAH 767 from 1 July UAH 771, from 1 October UAH 787, from 1 December UAH 799;

 

children aged 6-18 years: from 1 November 2009 - UAH 776, from 1 January 2010 UAH 901, from 1 April UAH 917, from 1 July UAH 921, from 1 October UAH 941, from 1 December UAH 957;

 

 

for the able-bodied people: from 1 November 2009 - UAH 744, from 1 January 2010 UAH 869, from 1 April UAH 884, from 1 July UAH 888, from 1 October UAH 907, from 1 December UAH 922;

 

 people that lost working capacity: from 1 November 2009 - UAH 573, from 1 January 2010 UAH 695, from 1 April UAH 706, from 1 July UAH 709, from 1 October UAH 723, from 1 December UAH 734".

 

 The bill also envisages the fixing of the minimum wage from 1 November 2009 - UAH 744 from 1 January 2010 UAH 869, from 1 April UAH 884, from 1 July UAH 888, from 1 October UAH 907, from 1 December UAH 922
