The Supplementary Protocol to the Geneva Conventions introduces the distinctive additional emblem Red Crystal to be used by the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent that shall be distinguished among the distinctive emblems of the Geneva Conventions and shall be added with the same aims
In particular, the Supplementary Protocol contains a model of the distinctive emblem, fixes "the order of its upkeep provides for the implementation of any circumstances of use and envisages the measures aimed at the prevention and cessation of emblem use abuse".
Moreover, the Supplementary Protocol determines cases of distinctive emblem use, implements
the order of ratification and procedure of protocol´s coming into force.
The corresponding Bill is registered with Reg. No. 0132.
