The Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government recommends that the Parliament adopts the Bill "On the State Register of Electors" (re the Status and Implementation of Authorities of the State Electors Register Bodies and Compilation of the Lists of Electors for the Formation of the State Electors Register) at the Second Reading and in its Entirety

The Bill (Reg.№3469) envisages the amendments to the effective law regarding the improvement of the legal regulation of the Register conduction bodies, procedures of its formation and also elicitors register compiling before the Register starts functioning.

 

During the meeting the members of the Committee has repeatedly scrutinized the bill elaborated for the parliamentary scrutiny in the second reading.

 

Yu.Klyuchkovskiy, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee informed that on 10 September 2009 the Law "On Amendments to certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine" came into force, consequently certain number of the bill principles lost its actuality.

 

As a result of the discussion, the parliamentarians unanimously resolved to recommend the parliament the bill adoption in the second reading and in its entirety taking into the consideration expressed motions and remarks.
