The Bill (Reg.№1015-2) envisages the fixing of the Ukrainian language status as the State language in Ukraine and national minorities languages, the order of their use in work of the state bodies, local self-governing bodies, education, science, culture, information, advertisement spheres.
According to the Bill, "language (languages) of study and upbringing in general educating institutions is determined according to the Constitution of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine "On Languages".
The Committee deems the adoption of law would facilitate the consolidation and development of Ukrainian Nation and provide the prior state actions in the sphere of language policy.
