On Thursday, 21 December, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a number of decisions.
IN GENERAL:
No. 7457 – regulated the circulation of plants of the cannabis for medical, industrial, scientific and technical purposes. The law provides citizens with access to the necessary treatment for serious illnesses, including cancer and post-traumatic stress disorders caused by war. The list of conditions and methods of using cannabis medicines will be determined by the Ministry of Health.
No. 10307 – amended certain laws of Ukraine regarding priority areas of science and technology development and innovation. In particular, this applies to priority areas in national security and defence, information and communication technologies, energy and energy efficiency.
AS BASIS:
No. 9573 – proposed amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine to streamline the mechanism for transferring private underwater hydraulic structures located within the waters of seaports to state ownership. The law defines the procedure for transferring such structures, including those built at private expense, to state ownership.
RATIFIED:
No. 0230 – Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the International Development Law Organisation on the Establishment of a Representative Office of the International Development Law Organisation in Ukraine.
No. 0235 – Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Korea on Loans from the Fund for Economic Development and Cooperation.
