Mykola Tomenko: Actual Presidential Campaign totally lacks a Substantive Discussion
"Actual Presidential Campaign totally lacks a Substantive Discussion", - Mykola Tomenko, the Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared.
"It is not a secret that the Presidents election campaign actually is being held in Ukraine now and the main problem here is not in the disproportion of the politicians´ presence on television or mass media but in the fact that there is no substantive discussion regarding the Ukrainian future", - M. Tomenko stressed.
M. Tomenko also mentioned that the main election campaign instruments "of the total majority of the candidates considerably lacks constructive content. External advertisements actually transformed into the candidates pictures fighting and the political talk-shows resembles the meeting speeches of these or that candidates", - he informed.
According to M. Tomenko, everything that is being held today is characterized either by the fighting on the scream-show or fighting among big boards.
At the same time, the vice-Chairman is satisfied with the fact that the team of the Yulia Tymoshenko Block denied taking part in such "an interesting" election campaign, consequently there is no Yulia Tymoshenko portraits on the means of the television and external advertising.
"Probably when the election campaign starts officially the external effects will cease to be fashionable and we will see the profound discussion between the candidates for the presidents post concerning the future development of Ukraine", - M. Tomenko hopes.
