The First Vice-Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko took part in the XXX meeting of the Coordination Council for Public Administration Reform

The meeting was chaired by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleh Nemchinov.
The participants discussed issues related to the further implementation of public administration reform, in particular, the reform of the civil servants' remuneration system and the classification of positions.
For his part, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko stressed the need to hold a specialised meeting on public administration reform in the context of the European Union's Enlargement Package. "After all, this is our roadmap for the next year – it contains at least three areas of interest to the Ukrainian authorities, civil society and partners. These are the issues of competitions, HRMIS and administrative procedures," the First Vice Speaker stressed.
As a member of the Coordination Council, he committed himself to the concept of returning to competitions, which can then be discussed at all levels.
Following the event, the participants agreed to accelerate the implementation of the human resource management information system in government agencies, create a working group to streamline ministry structures, and finalise and submit for approval to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine a salary scheme for civil service positions that will take into account the classification of positions.
The event was also attended by members of the Ukrainian Parliament, representatives of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, the State Audit Service of Ukraine, the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine, NGOs and foreign partners.
