Mykola Tomenko: The Issue of Foreign Policy will not be crucial in the Time of the Presidential Discussion.
Opening the Sitting of the Sub-Committee on Future Security and Defense Capabilities of NATO PA Committee on Security and Defense the Vice-chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, M. Tomenko stressed that the problem of foreign policy choice of Ukraine would not be the main problem during the election campaign.
Mykola Tomenko declared that due to the public disposition and social-economic crisis the foreign policy orientation of Ukraine as well as the geopolitical choice would be of great importance but not the main problem during the presidential elections.
"Today the society needs the political answers first of all on the questions how to order the life in the country, how to provide the legacy and stability in our state", - he declared.
Still, M. Tomenko informed that evaluates the fact positively and is convinced that irrespective of the elections results, the foreign policy strategy of the country would be aimed at the European way of development.
