The participants of the hearings recommend that I.Demchak, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy, V.Lazoryshynets, Deputy Minister of Public Health, and M.Pozhyvanov, Deputy Minister of Economy, take into account the information concerning the matters raised in order to satisfy the demand of the domestic market in the organic baby food to create safe conditions of life and health development of the children.
The Verkhovna Rada is recommended to facilitate scrutiny of the Bill on Organic Production (Reg. No. 4814), on Amendments and Supplements to the Law "On Key Principles of State Supervision (Control) in the Field of Economic Activity" (Reg. No. 3165), on Safety of Produce (Reg. No. 3422), on Amendments to Clause 35 of the Law "On Safety and Quality of Foodstuffs" (re Sale of Self-Produced Goods by the Countryside Residents), Reg. No.No.5053,5053-1,5053-2,5053-3.
The Government is suggested to draft and bring forward the Bills on Amendments to the Law "On Value Added Tax" re exemption of the locally produced baby food from tax, and re exemption from tax of the technological equipment non-produced in Ukraine imported to modernize baby food production. It is also suggested to introduce amendments to the Law "On Taxation of Income of the Enterprise".
The Cabinet of Ministers is recommended to draft and bring forward the Bill "On the National Program of Baby Food Production in Ukraine till 2015".
Moreover, the Government shall elaborate a complex of immediate measures to be taken to protect local agricultural producers and domestic market from the imported low-quality foodstuffs.
