The Bill (Reg.№3558) directed by the People´s Deputy V. Levtsun envisages in the part 1 article 137 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Inadequate Implementation of the Obligations regarding the Health and Life Protection of a Child" enhancement of responsibility for the committed crime that is freedom restriction for the term till four years or imprisonment for the period of 5 years.
Article 167 "On Guardian Rights Abuse" also envisages enhancement of responsibility for the "occupation of the living area, property use etc., that is freedom restriction for the term till three years or imprisonment for the period of 3 years with the right to occupy certain posts deprivation for the term of five years etc".
The Members of the Committee uphold the adoption of the bill as it facilitates the living and development conditions of children as well as the increase of the criminal-legal protection of the children.
