The Japanese side was represented by the Senior Vice President Naoki Ando, Director General of the Middle East and Europe Department Hideki Matsunaga and Deputy Head of the Office for Support of Ukraine Danjiro Okada.
During the meeting in Tokyo, the parties discussed future cooperation in the context of supporting the work and improving the institutional capacity of the Ukrainian Parliament.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the russian federation, the Japan International Cooperation Agency has been continuously assisting Ukraine in restoring infrastructure, developing industry, promoting exports, as well as reforming economic policy and strengthening public administration.
The Agency also supports the development of small businesses in Ukraine and the restoration of the energy sector.
