Oleksandr Korniienko: Youth will be the driving force behind all achievements and development of Ukraine

Oleksandr Korniienko, the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, took part as a speaker in the professional and educational course for young people “State Builder: Youth is Important”.
“The young generation from different parts of Ukraine gathered in one place for the sake of their development and to learn more. It was a dialogue on the intricacies of the parliamentary process,” said the First Vice Speaker.
In particular, Oleksandr Korniienko answered the youth’s questions about the work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – what are the functions, structure and what has changed in the context of a full-scale invasion, about his personal experience as the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as about prioritising work, the functioning of committees and what he managed to implement from his own ideas.
“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is a mirror of society. It will always be so. And now we have a definite movement forward. Of course, this is our victory, as well as accession to the European Union and NATO – the priority tasks that we are working on together,” said the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
In addition, he noted that many of the issues taking place behind the doors demonstrate the interest of the younger generation to penetrate the process in order to be ready to participate directly in the general political life of the country and build a strong state.
In conclusion, Oleksandr Korniienko emphasised that he sees powerful and ambitious young people who are capable of any achievement and task: “Our future, in which we are confident. And it is they who will be the driving force behind all the achievements and development of Ukraine – because they know what they want the country to be like and are ready to implement it.”
