The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk held the third meeting with the heads and founders of charitable organisations and charitable foundations of Ukraine.

The event was also attended by the First Vice-Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko, Vice-Speaker Olena Kondratiuk, MPs of Ukraine, representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

“Every time we gather with a single goal – to help our volunteers, to facilitate and simplify their activities,” the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament wrote on his social media page.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the most pressing issues, including the extension of the deadlines for payments for export-import transactions; the legislative distinction between charitable and humanitarian aid; the lack of a procedure for accounting and reporting by volunteers listed in the Volunteer Register; cancellation/reduction of bank fees for charitable payments; the situation with the import of cars for the Armed Forces and their temporary registration.

Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that the participants heard the volunteers’ proposals on all issues, especially the controversial ones, discussed mechanisms and ways to resolve them, and assured that all solutions would be developed jointly, in cooperation with the volunteers.
