Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the Deputy Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met today in the Parliament with the Deputy Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India Sanjay Verma.

“Ukraine is interested in involving India in the circle of countries that deeply understand the nature of aggression on the part of russia and are ready to contribute to the restoration of peace based on respect for the unshakable norms and principles of inviolability of state borders,” said Ruslan Stefanchuk during the meeting.

He also thanked for the humanitarian assistance provided by the Government of India and Indian business to Ukraine.

The interlocutors also discussed Ukraine’s participation in the G20 parliamentary dimension and India’s role in this process, given its presidency of the G20.

The meeting also touched upon the President Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s Peace Formula. The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called on India to join this initiative both in full and in certain areas.
