Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: Today one should think how to renovate the Work of the Generating Campaigns and do not make the only Emphasis on the Electricity selling
On Tuesday, the 15th of September 2009, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada during the press-conference in Chernivtsi region has expressed own position that he is against the objects privatization before the President´s Elections.
What concerns the perspective of the privatization of a number of oblenergo, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared: I am convinced that "knife switch" should be returned to the state". "What concerns generating companies, if somebody wants to possess islet them purchase the companies, here the space should be given to the private initiative, because today one should think how to renovate the work of the generating campaigns and do not make the only emphasis on the electricity selling", - V. Lytvyn stressed
According to him, the State should scrutinize oblenergo and the total energetic system in its entirety as one of the necessary conditions of the Ukrainian independence. "State should assist in regulation the energy sphere through tariffication, prices implementation etc", - the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada announced.
