The Speaker of the Parliament together with the Prime Minister of Ukraine met with Presidents of Lithuania and Poland

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk together with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda and the President of Poland Andrzej Duda.

The parties discussed Ukraine’s path to the European Union and NATO and coordinated joint steps to achieve these goals.

The Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the support already provided and further readiness of Lithuania and Poland to help bring victory closer together.

He noted that such visits are another manifestation of solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.

In addition, Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasised that Ukraine’s strategic goal is a clear algorithm for moving towards joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, as well as obtaining a mechanism of effective security guarantees. He noted that at the Vilnius summit, Ukraine seeks to receive an invitation to join the Alliance.

The parties also discussed the implementation of the Peace Formula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stressed that Ukraine seeks a comprehensive, just and sustainable peace, and the Peace Formula reflects Ukraine’s vision of the steps necessary to achieve this.
