Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stresses that the health protection in Ukraine should be among the state priorities and its financing should be implemented on the sufficient level. The Leader of the Parliament declared it on Wednesday, the 23rd of September during the X National Congress of Cardiologists of Ukraine dedicated to the 100 anniversary of the first myocardial cardiac infarction diagnosis.
V. Lytvyn announced that present fleeting processes of the human development and data transmission put new demands for the humanity, people´s health. "Consequently we have the actuality of the problematic discussed during the meeting", - he added.
Ukraine should be among the countries with long life duration, V. Lytvyn deems. "Solve the demographic problems we would be able first of all through increase of the people´s life duration and not through the increase of birth rate", - he declared.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is convinced that "the political vagueness, unpretentious of our life, want of skill regarding the estate development lead to the fact that the medical community, intellectual people, scientific corporations spoke about the necessity of the provision of stable, expected and effective development of the country". He stressed that "we need to fight the causes and not the consequences of what we have".
