Volodymyr Lytvyn: Recognition of the adopted Law on Temporary Inquiry Panels unconstitutional would lead to the Defiance of the Panels Activity on the Part of Persons concerning whom the Panels´ Work would be conducted

On Tuesday, the 15th of September 2009, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada during the press-conference in Chernivtsi region has commented the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the Law "On Temporary Inquiry Panels" being totally unconstitutional that was announced today.

"For me the judgement was expected, - V. Lytvyn declared. For the appeal to the Constitutional Court the Presidents had certain personal grounds".

Still, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada declared that: "the appealing against the decision of the Constitutional Court may be done only on Heavens. They are to be executed".

According to him, this judgement would lead to the necessity of coordination of TIP work and the way they act now would be stopped.

V. Lytvyn does not exclude that recognition of the adopted law on temporary inquiry panels unconstitutional would lead to the defiance of the panels activity on the part of persons concerning whom the panels´ work would be conducted. "This decision gives grounds for the decision, the power in the country is totally unbalanced, there is no dialogue, there are no common decisions. Constitutional Court becomes an arbiter in the discussion held between the power branches", - V. Lytvyn declared.
