Actual situation in Ukraine proves that this election campaign would be sharp and aggressive. It was announced by O. Lavrynovych, the first Vice-Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 5 Channel live broadcasting.
Giving comments regarding the possibilities to avoid spoiling of the voting results, O. Lavrynovych declared: "Of course it is difficult to create such a law that would change the mentality of certain people and unfortunately people would ponder over the fact how to alter the voting results. And if in the second tour they elect not the correct one, they would like to see on the post, they will certainly invent one more method to alter it".
What concerns the right on litigation, nobody took it away, O. Lavrynovych ascertained. "Litigation as well as in the previous revision the same in the given law is presupposed. Nobody took it away", - the politician emphasized.
As answer to the request to make a prognosis regarding the completion of the president election campaign, O. Lavrynovych declared: "It would be perfect if it finished if not in the first tour then immediately after the second one. It would be great if one of those serious honourable politicians that possess immense support in Ukraine but not that immense as a person who would win, would shake hand with the winner and after it they start quickly formation of new structures of the state management. It would be pleasant to observe in year 2010".
