The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk reported on the results of the plenary session on May 2. In particular, a number of decisions were made:
RESOLUTIONS:
9259 and 9260 – extended martial law in Ukraine and general mobilization for 90 days;
9060 – called on foreign parliaments, the European Parliament and the IAEA to introduce a multi-level sanctions mechanism against the russian federation and, in particular, rosatom, in order to immediately stop the nuclear terror carried out by the russian federation, which threatens the nuclear safety of Europe and the world;
9101 – adopted the Statement of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On defining the political regime existing in the russian federation as ruscism and condemning its ideological foundations and social practices as totalitarian and misanthropic”.
IN GENERAL:
9154 – expanded the list of military formations and special bodies where military medical commissions are established and allowed their creation by all participants in the security and defense sector. It granted the right to create military medical commissions at “civilian” health care facilities and municipalities;
9158 – streamlined the work of military medical commissions and accelerated the procedure for obtaining certificates for all servicemen who were injured while defending Ukraine;
9240 – changed the designated purpose of land plots for the construction of the National Military Memorial Cemetery in Kyiv. It was proposed to allocate 100 hectares in the Bykivnia forest for the cemetery.
AS BASIS:
9206 – proposed to regulate the issue of social advertising, in particular, to ban discriminatory images and statements in advertising, or those that incite hatred, hostility and cruelty.
6529 – proposed to expand the list of sanctions that the National Security and Defense Council may impose as urgent measures to resolve crisis situations that threaten the national security of Ukraine, including suspension of registration of a tax invoice for adjustments in the Unified Register of Tax Invoices, cancellation of registration as a single tax payer, etc.
