This was emphasised by First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko during the Crimea Wave forum.

He noted that after Ukraine’s victory and the return of Crimea, the stage of reintegration of the occupied territories will begin: “Our task is to seriously prepare for this: to develop strategies, draft laws and engage the Ukrainian younger generation at all levels.”

In addition, the First Vice-Speaker noted that it is necessary to constantly communicate with young people, to do so now, in order to effectively and quickly implement all the developments and return to the peninsula: Ukrainian state power, local self-government, services and the European tradition of democracy.

“After the de-occupation of the territories, we will have to start from scratch. Together with politically active youth, we will succeed,” Oleksandr Korniienko concluded.

For reference. The event was held with the participation of the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the AR of Crimea.

Within the framework of the Crimea Wave forum, experts in political, economic, cultural, informational and other fields held open discussions and dialogues with politically active youth about the liberation and reintegration of Crimea.

In particular, panel discussions were held on the reintegration, cultural and economic recovery of Crimea, as well as on the socialisation of the peninsula’s residents after nine years of occupation.
