The Committee on European Integration recognized a Number of Bills as such that comply with the EU Legislation

During the meeting of the Committee the bill on amendments to certain legal acts of Ukraine (re the crisis consequences overcoming and provision of the stable work of the industrial complex) was scrutinized.

 

The Bill (Reg.№4287) is aimed at the realization of measures aimed at the overcoming of the crisis consequences overcoming and provision of stable work of the industrial complex. In particular, the corresponding amendments are introduced to the following laws: "On Taxation of the Enterprises Income", "On Value Added Tax", "On Order of the Calculation in Foreign Currency Holding", "On Order of the Extinguishment of Taxpayers Obligations before the Budget and State Specially Allocated Funds".

 

The Committee emphasized that according to the subject of legal regulation, the bill belonged to the sphere of taxes including indirect ones, which was regulated by the following EU documents: the notice of Council Committee, European Parliament and European Economic and Social Committee concerning the coordination of the system of direct taxes of member-countries on domestic market and also regarding the implementation of the rules of the state assistance for the sphere of direct taxation of enterprises; directives of Council 2006/112 EU; Council Resolution (EU) 1798/2003 etc.

 

Members of the Committee emphasized that the bill did not contradict with the EU system of laws.

 

The Bill on amendments to certain legal acts of Ukraine regarding the protection of housing rights of orphans and children deprived of the parental care (Reg.№3676) was also scrutinized during the meeting of the committee.

 

It was declared that the subject of legal regulation the bill belonged to the scope of the UN Convention on Children Rights and Declaration on Children Rights adopted by the Resolution 1386(XIV) of United Nations General Assembly of 20 November1959.

 

The Committee Members informed that the bill corresponded to the international legal standards regarding protection of rights and interests of orphans and children deprived of parental care.
