The Committee on European Integration recommends that the Parliament ratifies the Protocol between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of Czech Republic on Assistance and Mutual Protection on Investments signed in Prague on 17 March 1994

The protocol enhances the most-favourable nation treatment of the Contractual Parties, introduces amendments and supplements to the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Czech Republic on Assistance and Mutual Protection on Investments due to the Accession of the Czech Republic to the European Community, and sets the guarantees of security of the Contractual Parties.

 

The Committee members stated that ratification of the Protocol would promote the development of international investment cooperation, attract foreign investments and technologies and boost foreign trade.

 

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No.0137.
