The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to the Law "On Service at the Local Self-Government Bodies"

The Law enhances responsibility of the officials of the local self-government bodies for violation of the Law "On fighting Corruption" and the Oath of a Local Self-Government Official.

 

Pursuant to the legislative act, violation of the Oath of a refusal of an official to take the Oath is the grounds for termination of service at the local self-government bodies.

 

A relevant Bill was registered under Reg. No.3080.
