Today, on February 24, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a number of decisions, including:
DEPRIVED the deputy mandates of MPs of Ukraine Korolevska N., Solod Y. and Voloshyn O.
RESOLUTIONS:
9034 – appealed to the parliaments and governments of democratic states and international organizations to increase military assistance and political support for Ukraine, to strengthen sanctions against the aggressor country, to recognize Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism and its actions as genocide of the Ukrainian people;
9038 – appealed to the UN Human Rights Committee, the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, the International Court of Justice, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees regarding the violation of international conventions by the russian federation with a call to respond to the outright genocide that the russian federation is organizing in the occupied territories against Ukrainian citizens and children by forcibly deporting our citizens to the territory of the russian federation.
DENONSATION:
0182 – terminate the discriminatory against Ukraine agreement with russia on cooperation in the use of the Azov Sea and the Kerch Strait, which restricts the navigation of Ukrainian warships in the Kerch Strait.
FOR THE BASIS:
8092 – proposed to stipulate that the registered place of residence of minors is the registered place of residence of the parents or legal representatives who the minor lives with.
IN GENERAL:
7475 – strengthened the protection of the state border of Ukraine and removed obstacles to the arrangement of state border infrastructure on the lands of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine and provided for the expansion of the border strip on the border with russia and belarus.
