Supporting the army is one of the priorities of work, – the First Vice Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko

The First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko made a working visit to Zhytomyr region, during which he took part in the transfer of keys to seven off-road vehicles and generators for the defenders of Ukraine.
The First Vice Speaker began his visit by paying tribute to the ATO and JFO Heroes. “Eternal memory and gratitude. The war has been going on for nine years. For our independence, territorial integrity and freedom,” he emphasized.
“The key to Ukraine’s victory has a formula of three components: defense forces, international coalition, and our unbreakable people,” Oleksandr Korniienko emphasized, adding that thanks to the heroic defense of Ukrainian soldiers, the international coalition working to provide Ukraine with weapons, and the joint work of the entire nation, we are bringing our victory closer and will win.
“Zhytomyr region is an example of public-private partnership. And it is very important that people do not forget that we were able to repel the enemy together. Together we are defending our country,” said Oleksandr Korniienko, expressing his gratitude to the community of Zhytomyr region for fighting against the invaders and protecting Ukrainian territories.
He also emphasized that unification is our strongest weapon: “It is important to continue to work together and help our defense forces. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi led our resistance and showed the whole world an example of how to defend our land.”
The First Vice Speaker also met with the Rector of the State University of Zhytomyr Polytechnic to discuss student self-government and education during the war: “I accepted the invitation to become a member of the university’s Supervisory Board. I hope that my experience in non-formal education will be useful.”
For his part, Ukrainian MP Arsenii Pushkarenko emphasized that our greatest strength and weapon, something the enemy did not take into account, is our unity. He noted that the transfer of off-road vehicles and generators to the defenders is another example of how Ukrainians do everything together for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
