The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk announced the results of the plenary session.

In particular, today, February 7, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a number of decisions, including

8419 Draft Law on Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine "On Extension of the Martial Law in Ukraine;

8420 Draft Law on Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On Extension of the Period of General Mobilization”.

FOR THE BASIS:

8381 – proposed that the prices at which defense customers purchase goods for the military and other goods and services to supply the Ukrainian army should be made public in Prozorro. The procurement report will have to be published if the cost of the procurement item is equal to or exceeds UAH 200 thousand;

8339 – it was proposed to allow the appointment of servicemen without higher officer education to officer positions under the following conditions:

the person is serving as a sergeant or a sergeant major;

has combat experience of at least 6 months;

has no outstanding disciplinary sanctions;

8399 – proposed to amend the Law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2023” and provide for the allocation of additional funds for construction and reconstruction, in particular, of hospitals and bridges.

IN TOTAL:

6085 – halved the timeframe for inspecting businesses for VAT refunds. The tax authorities have the right to conduct a documentary audit within 30 days to confirm the VAT refund (currently, this period is 60 days). The Law also provides for the improvement of state regulation in the field of electronic identification when submitting documents to tax and customs authorities.

The MPs also supported the appointment of Vasyl Malyuk as the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine and Ihor Klymenko as the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
